STCM Pre-Registration

The Southern Tier Coal Miners are looking for the Southern Tier’s and surrounding areas’ best and brightest, young, talented athletes! We are currently accepting kids in the U10-U16 age groups from all school districts to foster a unique, collaborative experience for our Winter 2026/2027 leagues. Please complete our pre-registration form to help us gather some initial information. We will respond shortly via your preferred communication method.

Please use the guide below to help understand where your young athlete will be eligible to play as US Soccer age group changes are now effective:

• U9 - August 1, 2017 - July 31, 2018

• U10 - August 1, 2016 - July 31, 2017

• U11 - August 1, 2015 - July 31, 2016

• U12 - August 1, 2014 - July 31, 2015

• U13 - August 1, 2013 - July 31, 2014

• U14 - August 1, 2012 - July 31, 2013

• U15 - August 1, 2011 - July 31, 2012

• U16 - August 1, 2010 - July 31, 2011

After you pre-register we’ll contact you to discuss next steps and evaluation. From there, you can track/follow your STCM registration journey. Pre-registration does not guarantee a spot on a team with STCM. Space is limited for the coming Fall 2026 season. Younger children with a 2016 birth year must demonstrate strong talent. Those born in 2017 must demonstrate exceptional talent for consideration.‍ We reserve the right to evaluate all pre-registrants prior to becoming a member of the STCM family.
